How does it affect?

Global Wind systems:In the same way as water currents move hot and cold water, air currents move streams of hot and cold air. So, when cold air gets moved to a hot climate, the climate becomes colder.

Latitude:Latitude affects the climate because some places are located at high latitudes, meaning far from the equator. Places that are located near the equator are at lower latitudes. The places that are located with higher lattitudes get sunlight less, and the places that are at lower latitudes get more sunlight.

Altitude:The more the altitude increases the colder it gets. The less altitude/elevation there is, the warmer it is.

Ocean Currents:The gulf of stream flows northward affecting the climate there. Some ocean currents flow from the south to the north, or the north to the south changing the climate.

Air Masses:Large amounts of air come together that are the same temperature and water content. Then it travels affecting the weather and climate of the area.

Proximity to ocean, sea,or large lake:Water absorbs and loses heat much more slowly than land, so coastal regions get affected by this. In the summer it is colder than the interior land, and in the winter it is a warmer winter compared to the interior land.
