Car accidents

Although it was revolutionary technology, it came with flaws as well. Such as accidents leading to injuries, even deaths. There were more problems that needed more solutions. To solve this, there was a social response focusing on controlling and driving behavior.

The national safety council in the 1920's compiled accident statistics, held the conferences, and sponsored safety week campaigns in cities, in the hope that it would increase public awareness. By the 1930's cars were evolving into new autosafety such as all-steel bodies and hydronic brakes.
