Up to the age of two, your toddler is accomplishing most of his primary learning through his own exploration. For example, he will try to activate a toy car by pushing the 'on' button. Your child, by two, is also beginning to identify 2 to 3 primary colours and understand the concept of size by identifying which is the bigger or smaller of 2 blocks. Your child is also able to recognise his own reflection. When he looks at photographs, he will be able to identify himself in them. He can imitate sounds and also match his toys to pictures and models. If you were to present a picture placed upside down, he will straighten it for you. He can also bring you your basket from the kitchen if you request him to do so.
