Conclusion and room for improvement

In conclusion, Fingerprints can be recorded on a standard fingerprint card or can be recorded digitally and transmitted electronically to the FBI for comparison. By comparing fingerprints at the scene of a crime with the fingerprint record of suspected persons, officials can establish absolute proof of the presence or identity of a person. Fingerprinting has been around for centuries and the fact that it’s still used as a method of verification today, is fascinating in it of itself. Not to mention, how amazing the process of fingerprinting is alone. Only speculations can be made as to where fingerprinting will go next. An everyday household item for verification could be a possible feature. The list goes on and on.

Room for improvement: I believe this experiment could be improved and expanded by trying out more exotic surfaces such as concrete, stone, and possibly even foam. I think due to the uneven surface of concrete and the roughness of it, the data would be hard to come by. I also think foam would be an interesting experience.
