Overall Conclusion for The Case

The jury should decide that the cell should not be subject to apoptosis, or cell death, but should be allowed the right to live. This is true for many different reasons such as:

-#1) Other cells can have unusual numbers of chromosomes as well

-#2) Trisomy 21 is compatible with life

-#3) An individual with chromosome 21 can lead a relatively “normal” life

-#4) Down Syndrome is relatively common

-#5) The moral aspects of the case that must be taken into consideration

The egg cell had not been labelled any sort of crime for the above reasons/because no crime has been committed.
