What are we doing to help?

-People are arranging busses,trains,and planes to get people out of the city in case of emergency.

- They have 200 buses and 24 train cars on standby

-People are building new and higher levees around the city.

-The city is trying to make better evacuation plans

-People have stored food and water for emergencies.

-72 nursing homes are being built

-More than 70 countries have donated money and supplies to Louisiana.

-The country Kuwait made the biggest donation of 500 million dollars.
