The McCarthyism in America

McCarthyism is when somebody makes an accusation of subversion (to overflow the government/ try and change the u.s. government to communist) or accuse people of treason. People accused innocent people because they were scared that they were scared that they were reds (communists). People got a lot of false accusations and went to court. Even if they were found innocent they were always looked at the same by their neighbors.
