Domestic Policy
Ronald Reagan came to presidency during an extreme economic recession, one of the worst since the Great Depression. To combat it, Reagan implemented tax cuts and cut spending towards social programs. Though at first it did continue to decline, by 1983 the economy began to recover. However, some criticize Reagan of favoring the rich.
