How it Affects an Organism

This disease can affect an individual organism by making them actually go insane. As I stated earlier, people began to believe this was God seeking to kill every last person on Earth and people were willing to toss their loved ones in order to stay alive. If this disease were to reappear today in Joplin, I believe the same thing that happened in the Middle Ages would happen today. We would all most likely move far away and live in fear despite the technology we have today. This disease is terrifying and deadly and I'm not surprised at the risks people would go to stay alive.
