RedHat comes in two versions, Fedora and RedHat Enterprise Linux. Fedora is the “community” version, whereas RHEL is the version that RedHat provides to customers who contract with them for technical support, software maintenance, etc. CentOS, which is a derivative of RHEL and Fedora, has become popular in recent years.
