The Amazing Spider-Man (Comics)

Peter Parker was a mild mannered teenager until he was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him spectacular spider powers. He felt he had a responsibility to use his powers to help those in need and become a hero, the amazing Spider-Man. Peter quickly found out that having a secret identity is a lot harder work than he initially thought. To become a hero he would need to learn self reliance. Spider-Man is a self reliant super hero because he always assumes responsibility for his hero duties and his regular duties as Peter Parker. Because Spider-Man works alone, he is responsible for making his own decisions on what is right and wrong. Spider-Man also can not relying on other heroes for help if he gets in trouble or in a fight with a strong villain
