Repetition in a room gives a sense of unity and order. When a room carries a common pattern or color across a room, the viewer's eyes can easily travel around the room and know what to expect. The room feels secure and planned when an idea is consistent. In this example, the blue regal pattern exemplified just that. The design is present in the he curtains, the pillows, and in the carpet. The consistency in color and design allows most of the room to blend in together and not sand out too much. The blue allows everything sink to the background and the pink flowers to contrast and stand out.
