This theme is shown in this scene when Tuck goes to visit Winnie but then finds out that she has died. Though he is saddened by the death of Winnie he knows that all death is part of life, and that all life has to end in death. It shows that your not living if you will never die.

This theme is shown in this scene when Urashima dies from opening a box that took away his immortality. This shows that all things must die eventually. Without this death he never was living. You can't avoid death because it's part of the Wheel of Life.
