Did women's roles changing benefit or hurt them.




It benefited women to take over the men's jobs while they were at war because:
🔻Women were able to prove to men that they were capable of doing hardwork.
🔻They also helped their nation win the war by making the supplies men needed in the war, because the men couldn't make the supplies since they were fighting the war.
🔻Higher wages for doing men's jobs, rather than their jobs.
🔻The women also got to experience a more interesting and vaired work.
🔻In 1919, being female or married no longer disqualifies someone from getting a job.
