The Gupta empire had a lot of roads that benefitted their life in many ways but it mostly benefitted trade, trade was extremely important for then just as it is for this raja. This raja considers them "trade routes" and not roads because their special to him and his subjects. If this raja joined raja Eisert should definitely think about adding more trade routes.
This raja remind me of the gouts empire they have a lot of comparisons. They had trade routes they didn't really matter to them. Just like the guptas empire trade roads. I can persuade that joining raja Eisert will not affect the trade routes at all. Also by telling him the more land we have that allows us to have more roads and more trade routes so we can get more goods, and food.

The Gupta also had roads that connected china to India and a lot of other lands. This improved by the trade there was. If they would all join, they would have more land and goods
