the right to vote : some believe

women do not belong in

politics

• Seneca Falls Convention :

- Beginning of movement for

women’s rights

- Organized by Elizabeth Cay,

Stanton, and Lucretia Mott

•What did it do?

- Allowed equal voting rights for

both men and women

- Solved the problem of

discrimination against women

in voting and ended the riots

regarding this issue
