Bartender: how's it going Kant
Kant: pretty well. I just completed my counter theory to Humes unthought out process of empirical ideas.
BT: how did that go?
K: I just asked him how can we perceive anything at all? There has to be something that allows us to use our senses. That which allows us to perceive phenomenon is intuition.
BT: what's intuition and phenomena...
K: Intuition is that which precedes an experience and a phenomenon is the experience or appearance. The two forms of intuition are space and time which belong to the human condition. The one thing we cannot know though is Das ding an Sich.
BT: what's that?
