The main character in Life as we Knew It is Miranda. Like any fifteen-year old Miranda is very moody. One day she'll be yelling and fighting with her mother and the next she won't talk much and use her manners. She's also stubborn and selfish. She needs things to be her way and is worrying more about her problems than the disasters that could potentially end life as we know it!
