I think the relative age for the rock cut will be (oldest) D, H, A, C, G, F, and the youngest is E. I think this because the law of horizontality tells me that the rock layer on the bottom is the oldest but the igneous intrusion is on the bottom and isn't the oldest. C isn't the oldest because it has to go through the layers. The rest of them is based on the law of Horizontality. The actual age is based of core sampling. The core sampling is used to find old fossils then they can tell how old the fossils are. Then see how old the rocks are.
