In the story, Come Again in the Spring, there are many little events and the aftermath of the event called cause and effect. For example, the old man instead of ignoring the stranger, took up a little conversation and the repercussion was immense. The repercussion of that little event started this " challenge" death gave him with could of cost him his early life. Another is, when the old man man answered the first question right, not that he didn't make the right decision, but that also ended up with him having to keep answering the hard questions. Finally, last but not least, when he answered the last inquired question of death and the repercussion was living through winter to Spring which in my opinion is really nice.
