Respiratory System

The Respiratory System is the act of inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide. When you breathe in oxygen it's best to breathe in through your nose it will go into contact with your nose hairs and it will filter the oxygen then it will go into the nasal cavity and the mucus will filter and moisten the oxygen. Then it will go down into your trachea. There, it will go down into your bronchial which will pass the air into the right lung or the left lung. In your lung the oxygen will go into smaller bronchial tubes and will lead to the alveoli. The alveoli are tiny sacks of lung tissue that will move gases between the air and the blood. Some things that could damage or harm your lungs is smoking, it will cause the lungs to turn black from the tar, and an affect from smoking is lung cancer which can make you die.
