Diagnosing bone and joint injuries

3 common skeletal system injuries are fractures, dislocations, and sprains.
Fracture- a break in a bone, can occur when you fall in such way that
all of your weight is placed on only a few bones.

There are different inquires to the skeletal system.

There are 2 kinds of fractures-simple and compound.
Simple fracture- the bone may be cracked or completely broken into two
or more pieces.
Compound fracture- the broken ends of the bone stick out through the skin.

Dislocation- occurs when the end of a bone comes out of its joint.
Doctors can put back the dislocated bone without surgery but sometimes
surgery is needed

Sprain- occurs when ligaments are stretched too far and tear in places.
Sprains can happen very often
