1. Label six Popsicle sticks as "control" and six as "variable".

2. Measure 40 ml regular potting soil into each 50 ml cavity of "control" six-pack set.

3. Measure 40 ml regular potting soil into each 50 ml cavity of "variable" six-pack set

4. Add fertilizer into soil

5. Plant seeds

6. Water both "control" and "variable".
