Discussion

The goal of this experiment was to see if plants could grow with more soil nutrients. In this experiment, we varied soil nutrients in order to find out which bean plant would grow bigger. During the three weeks, the control grew, but we observed that the variable never grew.

From our data, we learned that to grow a healthy plant, the soil can't be too concentrated or else the plant won't grow. One interesting or unexpected result was that the plat that had not as much nutrients, grew the most. Some sources of error which may have occurred in the experiment was putting too much fertilizers in the soil.

In the future, we would choose soil pollutants as another variable to test using the same material. This experiment would be conducted in the following manner: 1. Put fertilizer with harmful ingredients in soil. 2.Water plant. 3. See if plant would grow or not.
