The Roots of the Scientific Revolution

The Scientific Revolution was a series of events that led to the birth of modern science. It actually started in ancient times, but ,in a way, was not officially started until later. The Scientific Revolution was created through many contributions. One of them is the interest and studying of Ancient Greek writings. This led to people questioning the theories and propositions of the Ancient Greek philosophers and trying their own experiments, which was also a cause. The growth of humanism and the interest of the natural world by writers and artists also contributed. Finally, the study of Alchemy made its contribution. All these things came together in the 1500s and the Scientific Revolution started.
