The Alpine animals have special adaptations to survive the cold winds and storms of the Alpine. These animals include the Alpaca, Andean Condor, Chinchilla, Llama, Mountain Goat, Snow Leopard, Vicuña, and Yaks. Some of these have thick fur to protect them from the cold weather. Some have thick skin to protect from bad scars. The snow leopard has speed to catch it's prey. The Condor has huge wings to fly and glide faster than other birds of prey
