One of Thomas Edison's inventions was the phonograph. The phonograph was a machine that records voices. After it records, it plays it. At first, Thomas wasn't sure if it worked. So, he recorded him singing, " Mary had a Little Lamb." After that, when it worked, Thomas's workmen played withe the machine.
