In South Africa they have two different government. They have Constitutional Republic and Parliamentary Republic.

Constitutional Republic is a state where the officials are elected as representatives of the people,,and must govern according to existing constitutional law that limits the government's power over citizens.

Parliamentary Republic is a type of republic which operates under a Parliamentary system of government where the executive branch derives its legitimacy.
