-Buddhism's symbol is a wheel, its eight spokes represent the noble eighthfold path(Buddhas teaching)
-The symbol also represents the endless cycle of rebirth, reincarnation
- Buddhists holy text is the three baskets of wisdom
- Worshiped in shrines
- Divided into two sects Theravada and Mahayana
-Theravada believe that buddha is not a god but a spiritual guide
- Mahayana believe Buddha is a god
