Trade

A) Popular trade items were based on wheat, barley, millet, cotton and pulse. 


B) Through the extensive trade networks of the Indian Ocean basin, Indian forms of political organization, religion, and economic practices spread throughout the region. India’s trade with Persia which had previously been carried out through maritime routes to the caravan routes. This resulted in an increase in the size of the caravans passing through Kandahar from 3,000 to 12-14,000 camels.


C) Indian artisans produced a lot for agriculture commodities as well as the relied numbers for agricultre labor, teachers and other paid workers.
