Red-Green Colorblindness
•Red-green colorblindness is the inability to see the colors red or green.
•99% of all colorblind people suffer from red-green colorblindness
• Colorblindness affects 8% of men and 0.5% women
•There is no real treatment for Colorblindness,
but special tinted glasses help patients.
• This disease does not effect the patients life or life expectancy in any way.

Disadvantages of Colorblindness include the following:
Simple things like

*matching clothes
Other disadvantages include many jobs that color blind people may not be able to pursue:
*cooks
*Electricians
*airplane pilots
Advantages of this disease include:
*seeing through camouflage
*being able to pick out insects and animals that disguise themselves in grass, plants and other surfaces
Symptoms:
*trouble seeing colors or brightness
*inability to decipher between similar shades
