How well educated and united is its population?

In Spain, almost every single village or town has a school. These schools vary in size and sophistication, but overall they provide a good environment for children around ages 6-18 to learn. The majority of the Spanish population show to be very united, and act together as one strong nation. It's very important for the children in a nation to start getting an education early, so they will be successful, and literate when they are older. A strong educated population combined with being united as one country allows the region to become powerful, and be successful in things such as military, government, industry, etc.
