Why do you think the Church would include the Synoptic Gospels in the New Testament Canon?

The Synoptic Gospels are included in the New Testament Canon because they give insight to Jesus' life. The New Testament focuses on Jesus, unlike the Old Testament which does not talk about Jesus at all.
