The Christmas story...
The Christmas story is in both Matthew and Luke. In both stories, Jesus was born in Jerusalem to Joseph and Mary. However, the stories focus on different details. The two stories do not contradict each other, but they show different sides to the story.
Similarities
Differences
In Matthew, the story is told by one of the twelve disciples. In Luke, the story is told by Mary. Luke also gives us the story of Jesus' birth through the eyes of his mother. In contrast, Matthew talks about Jesus' heritage, and details of Joseph.
