Writing

They used oracle (ox) bones to communicate with their ancestors. They would write on the bone then heat a poker and poke the bone. After that they would study the cracks in the bone, they believed that what ever the cracks said would be the ancestors response. They wrote in logographs. Logo graphs were written characteristics that represent words. The written language unified China because they all used the same language through all the classes.
