Confucius
Confucius was a philosopher and a teacher. He believed that each person had a different role in society. People owned loyalty to superiors, such as a ruler or a parent. There were also less important people called inferiors, such as a younger sibling or a son. In return, that superior should set a good example. Confucius taught his students respect and loyalty.
