Pollution can Effect Ecosystems
Pollution can do many things in an ecosystem, unfortunately, none of them are positive impacts. In the past there have been many times with man made errors. Around the world, heavy metals, antifalant paint, and other things have been dumped into the ocean. This is doing nobody any favors because less than 5% of the water in the world is drinkable. The rest is either salt water or polluted water. This does not do the fish any favors, either. Their populations go down because they eat whatever they can manage to find. If a microbe was to eat it, the whole food chain would be suffering. Shrimp would lack food, so they would have a competition with each other. Viperfish would have nothing to eat either, and the same goes to the giant squid.
