Light Elements and Heavy Elements

It is believed that when the Sun was created other material began to clump and form small worlds like the Earth. Small particles came together by the force of gravity to create larger particles. The solar winds swept away light elements such as hydrogen and helium. This left only heavy elements and rocky materials to create a world such as the Earth. The rocky core formed first, with heavy elements binding together.
