Producers, Decomposers, Consumers-
Producer- the first trophic level in a simple food chain.
Decomposer- an organism, fungus, or invertebrate, that decomposes organic material.
Consumer- An organism that generally obtains food by feeding on other organisms
If a producers population were to drop, then Decomposers wouldn't be able to feed on anything dead and consumers wouldn't be able to eat anything. If Decomposers were to die out then the world would just be filled with dead bodies and animals corpses. If consumers were to due out then everything would overpopulate.
