Celestial bodies-
The relative distance from earth to the moon is incredibly short compared to the distance from earth to the sun and the comets that surround our solar system. It would take 3 light years to get from here to the nearest star. Stars just look so small because they are anywhere from a thousand to millions of light years away, if they were as close as the sun is to us, and if we were to look up in the sky, that star would take up our entire point of view.
