Friendships

Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe were very close in the show even thought they all had different personalities and backgrounds. For example, Phoebe was an orphan and lived off the street but had a very sweet and almost hippie-like spirit. While, Monica came from a middle-class family and has is very obsessive, compulsive, and controlling personality.

Chandler and Joey were the best pair of friends and lived together almost the entire show. Joey was an actor and chandler is a business man, so their personalities clashed at first. Chandler always looks out for Joey and they acted like teenagers half the time. They kept a foose-ball table instead of a dining room table and had 2 lounge chair in front of the tv. They were made the first best friends of the show and stayed that way we'll after Chandler moved in with Monica.
