The symbol I used was the tomate-bako or The Box of the Jewel Hand. This symbol was used in the passage "The Story of Urashima Taro the Fisher". This box is a symbol of temptation. The passage told about how if this box was opened the person who opened it would receive bad fortune but you don't know what it is. People's optimism about hoping their lives would improve would get them to open the box even though logically you would still have something unfortunate happen to you.
