The theme I choose was "Sometimes you must do the wrong thing for the right reason." This theme is shown in both Tuck Everlasting and "The Story of Urashima Taro the Fisher." In Tuck Everlasting Mae killed the man in the yellow suit because she had to keep the secret of the spring. While killing a man was bad of Mae she was doing it for a better cause. While in the other story about Urashima Taro when he discovered that his family died long ago and he couldn't get back to Atlantis he thought that even though he promised his wife that he would never open the box that maybe since he had nothing he could use the box to get back to Atlantis. This shows that even if this was something that he should not have done he thought it would help, however it didn't help him.
