Authors Perspective
I am reading Code Talkers by Joseph Bruchac. He is a descendant from a Abenaki Indian. He is a widely known storing telling for the Abenaki Indians across the USA and first started because he wanted to tell his children fun stories about their ancestors. Also he preforms with Dawnland singers with Abenaki Indian songs. He has a degree in creative and comparative literature. I think that his perspective is that he is proud of how the Navajos wanted to help and how they were a great contribute to the victory over Germany.
