Models of Theatre Interpreting
Zoned theatre involves the placement of interpreters onto the playing space, often at the outer edges. Interpreters sign the spoken dialogue that occurs on that side of the stage.
Pros:
Closer to the action
Can be costumed to connect terps to setting
Stage is point of focus for Deaf audience
