What causes mg?

-a defect in transmissions of nerve impulses to muscles.
-Where the nerve connects to the muscle the control is interrupted.
-naturally occurring acetylcholine travels and binds to receptors to generate muscle contraction.

In this disease, antibodies produced by immune system block, alter, and destroy the receptors.

The thymus gland may give incorrect instructions to developing immune cells, setting the stage for attack.
