Liturgy of the Eucharist

After the Prayers of the Faithful, the Offertory Chant begins and the bread and wine are brought up. The priest the stands at the altar and says,"pray brothers and sisters that my sacrifice may be acceptable to God, the Almighty Father." Everyone rises and replies,"May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his Holy Church"

Then the priest extends his hand over the offerings, and says the Prayer, at the end the people acclaim Amen.
