Reflexive in Past Tense

Even in the past tense, reflexive verbs are no different to ordinary verbs.
Reflexive verbs are all conjugated with ESSERE. We still chop off the verb ending (ARSI/IRSI/ERSI) and add ATO/ITO/UTO. Since they all take ESSERE we obviously need to make the ending agree (o/a/i/e). Then we need to remember to add the reflexive pronoun (mi/ti/si/ci/vi/si).

Example

Chiamarsi - to call oneself

Mi sono chiamato/a
Ti sei chiamato/a
Si รจ chiamato/a
Ci siamo chiamati/e
Vi siete chiamati/e
Si sono chiamati/e
