Imperfect tense
The imperfect tense is another form of past tense but is used in specific situations:
- to describe habitual or continuous actions in the past
- to talk about weather, time and age in the past
- to describe a physical, mental of emotional state in the past
- to describe an action that was in progress when something else happened
For a verb to be imperfect, we take away the RE at the end of the verb and replace it with vo, vi, va, vamo, vate, vano.
