CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Virginia State Police say a Chesapeake teenager died in a crash in Franklin County Saturday morning. Police say Darius Tyre Dixon, 18, was in the passenger seat when the car he was riding in swerved off the road and hit a tree along Route 122 around 5:30 a.m..Dixon died at the scene. He was a 2013 graduate of Western Branch High School, where he was a star on the track team.Dixon, a graduate of Western Branch High School, was a freshman member of the Liberty University track and field program.
